Caren Borges new Managing Director of Blumenbecker Group

Since 14 October Caren Borges has been the new chief executive of B+M Blumenbecker GmbH. She now heads the management board as CEO, replacing Richard Mayer, who will be taking his wel-deserved retirement at the end of this year. Mrs Borges will represent the company together with our two other managing directors Harald Golombek and Olaf Lingnau.

The Blumenbecker Group, headquartered in Beckum, Germany, comprises more than 20 companies focuses on industrial automation, industrial trade and industrial services. Around 1,300 employees at over 30 locations in Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, India, the USA and China (P.R.) support our customers worldwide in global competition with a diverse range of services from a single source.

Mrs Borges spent her studies in Bochum and eight months at Tongji University in Shanghai. After graduating with a degree in business administration (FH), she began her professional career as a controller at L’Oréal Germany before moving to the SME sector as a manager. Since August 2002, Mrs Borges has held various management positions at the Clyde Bergemann Power Group, an international, medium-sized energy technology group headquartered in Wesel. In 2017, she was appointed Managing Director/Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the company group, together with the CEO, she was responsible for the business operations of the operating companies and their 1,200 employees worldwide.
